What I Do
01
Comprehensive Immigration Evaluations
Immigration evaluations are prepared to document emotional, psychological, and psychosocial factors relevant to immigration proceedings. Evaluations include a structured clinical interview, review of relevant history, and a detailed written report prepared for legal documentation purposes.
03
Evaluation Process
The evaluation process begins with an initial consultation to determine the appropriate evaluation based on the immigration case and legal documentation needs. A structured clinical interview is then conducted to gather relevant psychosocial and emotional history. Following the interview, a comprehensive written report is prepared for immigration-related legal proceedings.
05
Attorney Collaboration / Scheduling
Collaboration with attorneys is welcomed throughout the evaluation process when appropriate. Reports are prepared in a professional narrative format suitable for immigration documentation and legal proceedings. Services are available in both English and Spanish, with scheduling options designed to accommodate case-related timelines.
02
Types of Evaluations Offered
• Extreme Hardship Waivers
• Asylum Petitions
• VAWA Cases
• U-Visa Applications
• Cancellation of Removal Proceedings
• Other Humanitarian Immigration Cases
04
Trauma-Informed & Culturally Responsive Care
Evaluations are conducted using a trauma-informed and culturally responsive approach that recognizes the unique experiences of immigrant individuals and families. Care is provided with sensitivity to trauma exposure, family separation, acculturation stress, and immigration-related challenges.
06
Confidentiality & Professional Standards
Immigration evaluations are conducted in accordance with professional and ethical standards of practice. Information shared during the evaluation process is handled with sensitivity, respect, and confidentiality within the limits of applicable laws and legal proceedings.
